WOODWORK + WONDER // ARIELE ALASKO

I have a soft spot in my heart for a woodworker's workshop. My father restored and refinished furniture for over 20 years, and I spent a lot of time in his shop. It was my second home.

I purchased my first Pure Green Magazine and have not been able to stop thinking of Ariele Alasko's reclaimed wood designs, furniture, and studio. Those patterns transport me to a spiritual place. And maybe because looking at her workspace, her tools, and the vintage accessories makes me feel like I'm back with my dad.

LOUNGING

One of my goals this summer was to get plenty of lounge time, and I feel like I'm finally getting it, which is why these photos must have resonated with me. Now if only my lounge time could look this good.
